How to use the Document Database website?
The Forum database is an integral activity of the OECD LEED Forum on Partnerships and Local Governance.
Origin of the documents:
Currently, the database contains over 450 English records published between 1999 and present and includes documents, studies, reports, minutes, planning and strategies documents published by governmental and non-governmental bodies, universities, other organisations, and individuals that publish materials on partnership and local governance issues.
The documents found in this database are obtained in the following ways:
- Documents issued within the implementation of the OECD LEED Forum on Partnerships and Local Governance. Documents can be downloaded in PDF format.
- Documents received from OECD LEED Forum members and LEED delegates with direct authors approval for publication in this database or official documents from Forum countries governments and institutions. Those documents are mainly available in PDF format and cannot be reproduced in any way without the express permission of the author who retains all copyright.
- Documents gathered via internet search by using key words: partnerships (area-based, public-private, employment, and social); territorial employment pacts; local governance; economic, regional, local development; strategic planning; labour market policy; social policy. Documents are either to be downloaded in .doc, .ppt or PDF version or have alternate online HTML versions for viewing.
Access to the database:
The database can be browsed either by country, by topic (Economic Development, Governance, Labour Market Policy, Partnership Studies and Guidelines and Social Policy) or by international organisation from here. Documents related to particular country covering various topics can be found under 'search per country'. Documents including more than one country are divided per topic and can be downloaded in the section 'search for transnational documents per topic'. Documents of international organisations such as OECD, EU, ILO can be browsed in the section 'search for international organisations'.
The documents are arranged in reverse chronological order so that the most recent items appear at the head of the list when you browse the database.
Most of the documents in the database are in PDF format and may be viewed using the Adobe Reader. To download the Adobe Reader please click here.
